Course Information
Description	A work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. A learning plan is developed by the college and the employer.
Prerequisites	None
Learning Outcomes	As outlined in the learning plan, apply the theory concepts, and skills involving specialized materials, tools, equipment, procedures, regulations, laws, and interactions within and among political, economic, environmental, social, and legal systems associated with the occupation and the business/industry; and will demonstrate legal and ethical behavior, safety practices, interpersonal and teamwork skills, and appropriate written and verbal communication skills using the terminology of the occupation and the business/industry.

Identify specific equipment and operating parameters to meet industry standards. 3. Identify and adjust controls to meet requirements for safe and effective operation. 4. Instructor Policies
Attendance Policy	Student must work the minimum number of hours to be eligible for a passing grade. Minimum number of hours is 192 hours.
Academic Honesty	Academic honesty is expected from all students, and dishonesty in any form will not be tolerated. Please consult the LSC-PA policies (Section IX, subsection A, in the Faculty Handbook) for consequences of academic dishonesty.
Facility Policies	No food or tobacco products are allowed in the classroom. Only students enrolled in the course are allowed in the classroom, except by special instructor permission. Use of electronic devices is prohibited.
